Smith is very excited to announce that we will be partnering with Ridwell to host a Plastic Film Drive from May 1st to May 20th.
As you know, there are a lot of plastic items that cannot be recycled through typical recycling services.
All of that plastic film clogs their machines and causes problems. Ridwell is a company that collects unusual recycling items such as plastic film, shipping envelopes, and bubble wrap and turns it all into long-lasting decking. Ridwell also offers a convenient home pickup service of a wide range of household items that can't be recycled curbside. If 10 families sign up for this service, then Smith will continue to offer plastic film recycling for the rest of the year!
Please send in any of the approved items on the flyer between May 1-20 and email emfarley@lwsd.org with any questions.
Spring Running Club is on!
Join us every Tuesday, 8:30 - 9:00 am, Apr 23 to May 28, 2024 to race with the Running Club. Parents, join us to cheer your students.
